Sonya’s passion and love for motorcycles came out of an unexpected corner, back in 2013. Sonya was riding in the car with her mother, when they saw a motorcyclist wearing an outfit that matched his bike. Her mother told her “I can see you riding on a motorcycle!”. It was that comment that made Sonya think about the possibilities.
After some short research, Sonya found out that there were almost no female bikers. The ones portrayed were either models or an older audience. After about three months, Sonya felt it was time for something new in her life. She decided to start riding motorcycles and succeeded within a couple of months.
When she started to ride, she felt uncomfortable and unattractive, due to helmet hair and the smudged make-up. This was something she was unaware of. As a young female, that loves make-up and beauty, riding motorcycles was not charming at all. It was that moment she knew, things had to change.
Her channel “Beauty Biker” started growing bigger and bigger from 2014. Working hard and trying to fulfill her dreams, Sonya started working on building a strong brand as a motorcycle journalist and motorcycle influencer. In 2018 she signed a contract with Cardo Systems and she got in contact with several, big companies.
In her current daily life, Sonya is a fulltime Digital Marketing manager. She has worked for several famous companies, also including Kawasaki. At Kawasaki, she was the head and project leader of the Kawasaki x BALR. collaboration, which is the biggest collaboration that Kawasaki (or any other brand) has done. She combined two unique products and signed a famous influencer to promote the project.
Sonya’s dreams are to be world known in the industry for her feminine but edgy and unique style. An example is: Sonya’s dream is that her name will be well known as a motorcycle journalist and beauty vlogger/blogger. Doing covers for big magazines and doing interviews on TV is her ultimate goal.
